What is Medical Waste Incineration? Medical waste incineration is the process of burning specific wastes, including pathological, trace chemotherapy and non-hazardous pharmaceutical wastes as it is considered the safest, most effective means of treatment and prevents harm to the environment and our health in general.

 

The pyrolytic incinerator comprises a pyrolytic chamber and a post-combustion chamber. Medical waste is thermally decomposed in the pyrolytic chamber through an oxygen-deficient, medium-temperature combustion process (800– 900°C), producing solid ashes and gases.

Medical incinerators are designed safely to dispose of harmful materials at high temperatures. The process ensures no harmful gases are released 

into the environment. Medical waste incinerators have scrubbers to clean the polluted gases and other particulate matter.
