“Decommissioning, overhaul and repacking of the unit
Based upon a potential need for an incinerator unit to be moved to a new location the contractor will outline the key steps through a clear written procedure and direct demonstration by the contracted operator for the decommissioning and repacking of the units, so this can be achieved.
As part of this process it is envisioned that all bottom ash and fly ash will be removed, the unit will be cleaned, and the diesel fuel tank and generator will be completely emptied. The decommissioning work will include a detailed inspection and the replacement of any worn or damaged parts at the expense of the client. This may include repacking into a sea container for transport to the new location.
